STUDIO
Design and Curation
The Studio develops the olfactory layer of experiential, cultural, and spatial projects. We work with brands, cultural institutions, hospitality groups, event producers, and creative teams to develop scent as part of a broader design outcome.
Rather than treating fragrance as a finishing touch, the Studio approaches olfaction as a design discipline. Scent can shape atmosphere, reinforce identity, support narrative, and contribute to how a place or experience is remembered.
Projects range from signature scent identities and white-label fragrance development to exhibitions, hospitality, live performance, and multisensory installations where scent is integrated alongside sound, lighting, architecture, and spatial design.
Every commission is developed in response to its context, audience, and technical requirements—from concept development through formulation, production, and implementation.

Worldbuilding through scent
Scent is one of the few design elements capable of shaping atmosphere in the subconscious. We develop original olfactory identities for intellectual property, hospitality environments, corporate experiences, and immersive productions, ensuring fragrance forms part of the creative language from the outset. Each project is designed in response to its narrative, architecture, and audience, resulting in a coherent sensory world.
-

White Labelling
We engage with brands to formulate original fragrances for perfume, home fragrance, skincare, wellness, and lifestyle products. Every formulation is developed exclusively for the client, with careful consideration given to brand identity, materials, performance, and manufacturing requirements. Projects are delivered confidentially and may include formulation, refinement, supplier coordination, and production support.

Focused Atmospheric Design
The character of a space is shaped by more than its visual design. We develop strategies for workplaces, showrooms, hospitality venues, boardrooms, and production environments where atmosphere contributes to how people focus, interact, and experience a space. Every fragrance is composed for its intended setting, balancing creative intent with practical considerations such as occupancy, ventilation, and duration.

Scent in Creative Practice
Creative incubatory environments benefit from a considered atmosphere as much as they do from curated design. Vitsley Olfactive Studio works with music studios, fashion houses, design practices, and creative teams to develop scents that support the identity and working culture of a space without competing for attention. The result is an environment that feels intentional, distinctive, and aligned with the creative work taking place within it.

Olfactive Scenography
Scent can function as part of the scenographic language of an exhibition, performance, or installation. We collaborate with artists, curators, production teams, and creative directors to develop olfactory elements that complement narrative, sound, lighting, costume, and spatial design. From galleries and theatre to concerts and film, fragrance is integrated as part of the overall creative direction rather than added as an effect.

Gifting and VIP Experiences
Vitsley Olfactive Studio creates fragrance commissions and sensory experiences for private clients, upscale hospitality, and brands seeking thoughtful forms of gifting. Projects range from individually composed perfumes to curated olfactory experiences designed for launches, VIP programmes, and private events. Every engagement is approached with discretion, craftsmanship, and a focus on creating something that cannot be replicated off the shelf.

“The special thing about smell is that it is idiotic in the proper sense of the word, namely unique... That’s why we notice it.”
